A higher rate of gain of fuel oressure vs. boost pressure is the reason behind the new 20008 regulator. The need has come along for faster rates of gain, up into the 15 to 1 range. The 20008 will do that, as well as adjust all theway down to a 2 to 1 gain.

When you increase the injector size, you must reduce the rise rate in the boost sensitive FMU... the 20008 is just way too agressive for a supercharged application.

I believe that JRCivic tried the 20008 out and found that there were some problems. The rise rate is too fast think and if you'll remember, we actually use a restrictor in the 20005 SC applications to slow the VAC signal just a tad bit. Contact JRCivic and see what he has to say on it as I am pretty sure he tried it out and it didn't pass.
